As educators within the same institution, our passion for printmaking drives us to explore a myriad of techniques, from Procreate digital prints to traditional linocut, collagraph, cyanotype, and bichromate printing. Inspired by our students’ lively onomatopoeic expressions – ‘Grr,’ ‘Huh,’ and ‘Yay’ – we infuse our work with the spirit of Dada Poetry. Together, we’ve created Onomato_poet, an immersive digital installation that blends the whimsy and spontaneity of Dadaism with our collective artistic vision. This innovative project harmonises traditional and modern techniques, reflecting our artistic evolution while honouring the power of collaboration.
